A tuberous perennial with arrow-shaped leaves that are marbled with white or yellow. Inflorescence is a white or yellow column of tiny flowers (the spadix) that is encased by a greenish-white hood (spathe). Foliage is absent in the summer, and replaced by spikes of bright orange-red berries.Habitat
